Larger office, more staffing

Fast Innovations, a product development firm that specializes in fine fragrances, personal care products and color cosmetics, has been experiencing rapid growth every year since it started in 2007. The company recently moved to larger offices in New Albany, Ohio, and in the past year the staff has grown to four new employees:

  • Kevin Wadhams, manufacturing and operations expert formerly of Bath & Body Works and Unilever, offers more than 30 years of supply chain management experience.
  • Mark Ishmael is formerly of Bath & Body Works and Hallmark Cards. They both have expertise that includes forecasting, new product launches, regulatory requirements, order planning, order management, capacity planning, supplier and vendor management, as well as systems development/implementations.
  • Heather Bragg, marketing manager, has a background in journalism working for newspapers and magazines in the Midwest and the South. She is handling Fast Innovation’s public relations, social media and online marketing.
  • Jaime Galbreath, office manager, is a recent graduate from Sotheby’s Institute of Art in London with a strong background in curation, market research and event planning.

“We are very pleased to have these seasoned business professionals working at Fast Innovations,” said Fritz Hoefer, company founder. “All of their talents are preparing us for the future.”

Fast Innovations is the brainchild of Hoefer, who started the business from his basement in 2007. He has held sales, marketing, general management and board positions with several multimillion-dollar consumer products companies and retailers. Hoefer was the first executive vice president and general merchandise manager at Bath & Body Works as it grew to a multibillion dollar business.

“Fast Innovations creates new and innovative products very fast and with sustained implementation success,” said Hoefer. “We have applied our expertise to large corporations – which oftentimes is difficult to do.”

Fast Innovations helps expand businesses by creating new seasonal fragrance lines and body care products in as little as three months. The global product development firm is vertically integrated to produce a market-savvy concept for such brands as American Eagle, Justice and The Limited. They strategize the best market placement opportunities for custom-designed fine fragrances and personal care products, integrating into a client’s current brand.

Their manufacturing facility can run small quantities for test markets or hundreds of thousands of units.

Fast Innovations’ new offices are located at 68 North High St., Building E, Suite 104 in New Albany, Ohio.
